The Anthem Dolphins Swim Team is a competitive, year round, USA swim team that was started in July, 2000. Our training and practices are held at the Anthem Community Center, 41130 Freedom Way, Anthem, AZ 85086.  (directions).

Our team was founded on the belief that every child should learn how to swim for both safety and sport.

Since the year 2000 the Dolphins have grown from a small community team to a team of over 100 competitive swimmers from all over the Valley. We have swimmers that range in age from 5 years old to our senior level swimmers (high school age group). These swimmers practice from 3 times per week to up to 6 times per week depending on their age and ability level. All swimmers have been tested to ensure they are in the correct group.

Our level system has been revised for 2012:

Bronze Level:     10 and Under

10 and under swimmers who can complete 50 meters freestyle and 25 meters of backstroke, and demonstrate an understanding of the breaststroke and butterfly

Silver Level:       12 and Under

Must be able to complete 50 meters of USA legal strokes for all 4 strokes and the 100 IM (individual medley). Must commit to swimming at least 1 swim meet per session and show improvements in their times, starts and turns.

Gold Level:         8 and Up

Swimmers who have tested out of, or progressed through levels 1 and 2. Swimmers who are committed to swimming in multiple meets and achieving PR times, and State and regional standard times.

Seniors:             10 and Up

Swimmers who have met their state Q times or completed lower levels or high school swim, and are dedicated to improving their stokes and PR times as well as reaching meets like Far Westerns, Jr. Nationals and beyond.

Several of our current and former senior level swimmers have achieved All American high school rankings. Additionally several of our age group swimmers have achieved national, regional and state rankings. Our swimmers desire to succeed combined with our coaches’ direction and vision have created a team that is centered around swimming, family and fun!
